Examples

Evidence, not promises.

Six example builds, one per trade. Each has its own palette, its own typography, and its own idea of what a customer came looking for.

These are our own example builds, not client work.

The businesses below are invented, so we’re not putting anyone’s name on a page they didn’t agree to. When a customer says we can show their real site, a real one takes an example’s place.

Example build for a café: a warm cream homepage headed “Bread worth the walk”, with opening hours, phone number and an order-online button.

Café & bakery

Warm, photo-led, today’s bake up front. Opening hours where a hungry person can actually find them.

Example build for a hair salon: a pale lilac page centred on the line “A cut that grows out well”, above a plain-numbers price list.

Salon & barber

Booking front and centre, price list in plain numbers, and room for photos of your own work.

Example build for an auto shop: a steel-grey and red page headed “Forty-seven years on the same corner”, with service tiles and a booking button.

Auto shop

Trust signals first: how long they’ve been there, what they service, and the phone number.

Example build for a builder: a bone-coloured page headed “Built once, built properly”, with a one-minute quote form and a cobalt blueprint elevation.

Builder & contractor

Finished work up top, service area made obvious, and a quote request that takes about a minute.

Example build for an independent homeware shop: a calm teal-accented page headed “Things made to be used”, with three products and their prices.

Independent retailer

Product photography, where to find the shop, and what makes it worth the trip.

Example build for a restaurant: a dark forest-green page reading “Eighteen seats and one sitting a night”, above the evening’s menu.

Restaurant

The menu up front, the dining room setting the mood, and booking a table one click away.

What they have in common

Different trades. Same standard.

A café site and a builder’s site should not look the same, and ours don’t. But every one of them clears the same bar before we’ll put a postcard in the mail.

  • Your own photographs first. Never AI-generated.
  • Loads fast on a phone, on a bad connection, in a car park.
  • The things customers came for, like hours, location and a way to get in touch, easy to find.
  • Copy that sounds like your business, drawn from what your customers already say about you.
  • Readable: real contrast, real text size, keyboard-navigable.
