You only pay if you want the site. Below is everything it costs to have a website, not just our part, so you see the full picture before you say yes. No contract to sign.
$500 + GST
One time, for your finished website. That’s $575 including GST, in New Zealand dollars. To be online, every website also needs a web address and hosting. Both are explained here, with prices.
What’s included
- A complete, finished website, designed and built from your real photos and reviews
- Designed for a phone first, because that’s where your customers are
- We put it online for you if you host with us, or hand over your website design if you’d rather host it elsewhere
- One round of changes before launch: photos, wording, hours, whatever’s wrong
- The site is yours. Take it elsewhere whenever you like.
Two things every website needs to be online
Neither is part of the $500, and you can sort both yourself. If you’d rather not, we’ll do it for you.
1. A web address (your domain name)
- Already have one, like yourbusiness.co.nz? We use it.
- No web address yet? We find one that fits and buy it for you at cost, with no markup
- You approve the name and the price first. A .co.nz is usually $20–$50 a year.
- It’s yours. We renew it each year at cost, and if you ever move on, we hand it over.
2. Hosting (what keeps your site online)
- Think of it as rent for your website’s space on the internet
- Host with us for $30 + GST a month, small changes included (see below)
- Or use any hosting company you like. We’ll provide you with your website design, so anyone can set it up for you.
What’s not included
- Online shops, booking systems, or custom software. Ask us and we’ll quote honestly.
- Ongoing changes after launch, unless you host with us
Needed, but not necessarily from us.
Every website needs hosting to stay online. It’s the one ongoing cost of having a site, whoever you choose. You can arrange it yourself, use any hosting company you like, or have us look after it. Choosing someone else doesn’t change anything about the site you’ve bought.
We say this plainly because the usual version of this business model is to sell a cheap site and make the money back on a contract you can’t leave. That’s not what this is.

You don’t need our hosting to buy the site. If you cancel later, we hand over your website and your web address so you can move them anywhere.
The money questions
The questions worth asking before you pay.
After you’ve seen the finished site and told us you want it. Not before. We invoice you, you pay, we put it live. We never ask for card details over the phone.
$500 + GST once, for the website. If you need a web address, that’s usually $20–$50 a year, at cost. Then hosting: $30 + GST a month with us, or whatever your own hosting company charges.
So if we do everything, your first year is $500 + GST for the website, $360 + GST for hosting, and the web address at cost. After that, it’s just hosting and the yearly web address.
No deposit and no minimum term. There’s one payment for the site. If you take the hosting option, it’s month to month and you can stop whenever you want. If we bought a web address for you, we renew it each year and bill you what it costs.
If something’s wrong because we got it wrong (a typo, the wrong phone number), we fix it free. Anything else after launch comes with the hosting plan, or we’ll quote before we do anything.
Yes. Once it’s paid for, the site is yours. Your web address is yours too, even if we set it up for you. If you ever want to move to another hosting company or another designer, we hand over your website and your web address without an argument.
Before you pay, walk away and owe nothing. After you pay, tell us what’s wrong. That’s what the round of changes is for.
